IFT TITTLE:Hydrogeological/Geophysical Surveying, Drilling and Pumping Test of ten productive boreholes in Ikungi District.
TENDER NO. AE/043/2018/2019/W/06 LOT 1:Drilling and Pumping Test of ten (10) productive boreholes atMsule,Mkunguakiendo,Matare,Mampando,Mang’onyi,Minyinga,Sakaa,Munkinya,Ikungi and Ujaire, in Ikungi District ,Singida.
- The Singida Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (SUWASA) has received funds from the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania toward the cost of ProcurementofDrilling Contractors, and intends to apply portion of the funds to eligible payments under the Contract for which this Invitation for TENDERS is issued.
- The Singida Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (SUWASA) now invites DRILLING CONTRACTORS in Class III and above with eligible drilling permits for drilling worksoften (10) productive borehole in Ikungi district. The description of work isas follows:
- Hydrogeological and Geophysical surveying for the drilling sites.
- Drilling and pumping test of ten (10) productive boreholes atMsule,Mkunguakiendo,Matare,Mampando,Mang’onyi,Minyinga,Sakaa,Munkinya,Ikungi and Ujaire, in Ikungi District ,Singida.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non-Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 and are open to national Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board Office No 10, SUWASA offices,P. O. Box 174, Utemini Area adjacentto TANROADS office, SINGIDA, from 08:00am – 04:30pm,Monday to Friday,except on public holidays.
5. Qualifications requirements include: Legal status of the Tenderer, proposed major equipment for carrying out the works, qualifications and experience of key personnel for administration and execution of the contract.
6. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English, in hard copy and additional sets may be purchased by any interested Tenderer on address given on paragraph no.4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania shillings One Hundred Thousands only (Tshs. 100,000.00). Payment should be made either by banker’s draft, banker’s cheque upon requesting control number provided by SUWASA.
7. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English, in hard copy and additional sets may be purchased by any interested Tenderer on address given on paragraph no.4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania shillings One Hundred Thousands only (Tshs. 100,000.00). Payment should be made either by banker’s draft, banker’s cheque upon requesting control number provided by SUWASA.
8. All Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly enclosed shall be submitted before 2:30pm on 28/03/2019. Late submitted Tenders will be rejected. All Tenders will be opened physically in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the conference room, Singida Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority.
9. All Tenders shall be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in an acceptable format.

11. It should be noted that, late Tenders, portion of Tenders, and electronic Tenders are not accepted.Tender not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of their circumstances.
