TANROADS-MWANZA INVITATION FOR TENDERS (IFT) TENDER NO. AE/001/2019/2020/MZA/W/ 05
ROUTINE & RECURRENT MAINTENANCE WORKS ALONG IBANDA (MWANZA/GEITA BDR) DITIWA (MWANZA/SIMIYU BORDER) ROAD (PATCHWORKS & SHOULDERSWORKS)
1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice which was posted to Tender Portal (PPRA Website) and TANROADS website as per Public Procurement Regulation guidance as on 10th May , 2019.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) Mwanza Region during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contracts for ROUTINE & RECURRENT MAINTENANCE WORKS ALONG IBANDA (MWANZA GEITA BDR) DITMWA (MWANZA/SIMIYU BORDER) ROAD (PATCHWORKS & SHOULDERSWORKS).
3. The Delegated TANROADS Regional Tender Board Mwanza on behalf of the Chief Executive, TANROADS invites sealed tenders from eligible tenderers, registered with Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in Class as shown in the table below for the following roads:

4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and is open to National Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Regional Manager, TANROADS -Mwanza, Ujenzi Buildings, opposite Railway Station Terminal Building, Mwanza City, P.O.Box 1410 Mwanza, telephone no. 0282500340,Fax 028 2500956, Email: [email protected] , from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Mondays to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by any interested eligible Tenderer on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of non-refundable fee ofTshs.300,000.00 for Tender No.05 Payment should be ‘ made by Cash deposit through a control number that will be provided at the office of Accounts TANROADS Mwanza Bank pay in slip should be submitted to the Accounts department at Mwanza Regional Manager’s office before Tender Documents Issuance.
7. Site visit and Pre-tender meeting shall be held on 14th August,201 9 for Tender No. AE/001/2019/2020/MZA/W/05.Tenderers are strongly advised to attend the site visits scheduled to start at TANROADS Mwanza Regional Manager’s office .
8. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender securing declaration in the format provided in the tendering documents.
9. All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Mwanza Regional Managers Office at or before 10.00 hours local time on Wednesday, 21st August, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in Public and In the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at the Conference Room, TANROADS Regional Manager’s Office, Tender Board, Ujenzi Building, Railway Station Road, PO. BOX 1410 Mwanza.
10. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony l shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
11. All tenders in enclosed sealed covers must clearly be marked ”Tender No.AE/001/2019/2020/MZA/W/05.” for Routine & Recurrent maintenance working along Ibanda (Mwanza/Geita bdr) -Ditiwa (Mwanza/Simiyu border) road (Patchwork: & Shoulders works). or Tender No. AE/001/2019l2020/ MZA/W/05 on outer envelopes and not to be opened before 10:00 am local time on Wednesday, 21st August. 2019.
